Intended Audience: Data scientists and related technical fields, also relevant for policy makers (to employ concepts, critical analysis, and a shared vocabulary).
Aim: Demonstrate the (positive or negative) social impact of AI, advocate for an approach to AI development that has human rights at its core. The goal is to communicate responsibilities and practices to a technical university generation, promoting an approach to the creation of AI systems that centers equality through human rights.
Method: Using real-world examples, technical language, and follow-along coding exercises, the workshop bridges between disciplines, enabling conversations on the concrete human rights aspects of developing and regulating AI technologies.
