I am the co-founder of Tierra Común, a network to promote reflection on data colonialism from the Global South. My work supports theoretical and applied research that contributes to reversing power asymmetries, especially those related to gender, race, class, language and non-Western forms of knowledge.
My research seeks to impact the development of policies and technologies through critical analysis of the implications of current ethical, economic, and political AI frameworks.
