About the work

She promotes gender equity and diversity and inclusion actions (e.g., W-Lead@STEM). She is a member of the gender equity commission at LIRIS, and she represents EDBT in the DnI database interconference group. Since 2020, she has co-organised the W-STEM forum of the conference AICCSA (2020, 2021). She co-organises the workshop Data science for equality, inclusion and well-being challenges (DS4EIW) in conjunction with the conference IEEE Big Data.

I have a trans-disciplinary profile with a PhD in Informatics and a PhD in Humanities (Comparative Literature). She has coordinated projects addressing SHS and Data Science problems. This atypical profile suggests that she can run trans-disciplinary projects with sound scientific knowledge of DS and AI analysed with awareness of humanities and social science methods.
