I worked on the difficulties of women scientists and technologists in the development of their careers. Currently, I am interested in work around care work and technologies, particularly in relation to community care.
In 2023, we collaborated with Argentine colleagues in response to the fA+ir (Feminist AI Research Network) call for proposals for the “Incubating Feminist AI” initiative, led by the Alliance for Inclusive Algorithms. The objective of our project was to support women working in emergency food centers in Argentina, thus contributing to food sovereignty in the country. Although we were not able to move forward with the project, the alliance provided us with a valuable platform for cooperative and selfless engagement that inspired us to continue our active participation.
