First ‘ Coffee Breaks’ in April will feature Ed Kaplan, William N. and Marie A. Beach Professor of Operations Research, Professor of Public Health & Professor of Engineering, Nicholas Christakis, Sterling Professor of Social and Natural Science, Internal Medicine & Biomedical Engineering, and K. VijayRaghavan, Principal Scientific Adviser, Government of India and Distinguished Professor and former Director of The National Centre for Biological Sciences.
Computation and Society Initiative (CSI) Coffee Break
In this on-going series of discussions, we invite experts and leaders to share their perspectives on some of the key challenges facing society and whose solutions are likely to involve a novel synthesis of ideas and innovations from disciplines and schools including computer science, data science, social sciences, humanities, public health, business, and law.
We hope that these Coffee Breaks will build connections and stimulate collaborations across fields and broaden the research landscape at Yale and beyond.
